PLC - Sydney

The brief

“Fixing a fish bowl issue”, was the project brief. The glass office partitioning system was creating a lot of noise and distraction for PLC Sydney Administrative Staff.

What we did

Mumble provided custom Botany design Hanging Room Dividers and Wall Panels to stick on the glass. The dividers screen sightlines between workstations and absorb the sound that travels across an open office, while felt applied directly to the glass gives the partitions privacy and softens the reflections that glass bounces straight back into the room.

Round pinboards add a practical layer: they absorb sound too, and double as noticeboards for the team.

Mumble provided the installation over the School Holidays to minimise disruption.

The result

A calmer, more private office for the administration team, with fewer visual distractions, and no need to replace the existing glass partitioning.
